Each page of this three-volume set is approximately 8 3/4 by 6 1/3 inches or 22 by 16 cm, a size known as hanshi-bon.

NOTE: The seal in the right-upper margin of this print and the following print reads “sa” (左). It is probably a false publisher’s seal.

NOTE: Although shunga is generally unsigned, artists sometimes inserted hidden signatures. Kuniyoshi’s kiri seal, a stylized paulownia flower, appears in the background, top-center, on the light blue curtain.
