This
series of fan prints (uchiwa) shows beautiful
young women in a state of dishabille at their toilette in front of mirrors, with
the mirror’s corners partly concealed with cloth covers. The series is not listed in Kuniyoshi by Basil William Robinson
(Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 1961).
