People’s History of the Suikoden (Haishi Suikoden, 稗水滸伝)

The
prints in this series are approximately 7 by 5 inches (18 by 13 centimeters), a
size known as koban. This series is not listed in either Kuniyoshi: The
Warrior-Prints by Basil William Robinson (Cornell University Press, Ithaca,
NY, 1982) or Kuniyoshi by Basil
William Robinson (Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 1961). I am grateful to Ward Pieters
for finding this series.
