This series of prints by Kuniyoshi and Hiroshige is not listed in Kuniyoshi by Basil William Robinson (Victoria and Albert Museum, London, 1961).  The prints are each about 14 by 10 inches (36 by 25 centimeters), a size known as ôban.  I am grateful to Robert Pryor for his contributions to this series.

Description: Top right is Yuranosuke in Act IV of Kanadehon chûshingura, Miyagino and Shinobu in Shiraishi banashi (しらいしはなし), Mitsuhide in Act X of Ehon Taikoki (太功記十段目), the monkey in Sarumawashi Kadode no Hitofushi (Horikawa, 堀川), and Shunkan (女護島)
